Charges filed against Current CEO Schanzer by Ex COO Nancy Mozzachio
For the charges of sexual harassment and discrimination about the pay, former Chief Operating Officer Nancy H Mozzachio filed a case against the company’s Bruce Schanzer who happens to be the Realty Cedar’s current CEO. The decision whether of these charges is in the hands of a judge in Brooklyn.
Aside from smirking at women at the workplace, CEO Schanzer is also giving out malicious comments according to Nancy Mozzachio. Nancy also claims that CEO Schanzer he has made some unfit commentary about her breasts and maliciously calling her “babe”. CEO Schanzer is also being accused of making an imprudent comment about bringing some Double Ds to work while Nancy was drinking a cup of coffee from Dunkin Donuts. Also, the current CEO Schanzer is said to be giving out uncalled for hugs at work.
Nancy was then fired from the company as COO after the lawsuit has been filed. She was supposed to have a meeting but it was canceled and after she was fired as Chief Operating Officer.
On the year 2015 there had been circulations that an external investigation is being conducted regarding the case, that’s also the time where Cedar Realty did some probing about it. Nancy claimed that the charges from the female employees of the said company was never investigated. One employee was reportedly being asked by Schanzer the color of her underwear, and that employee went to the Wall Street Journal, you can check it out! Most of the people who claimed to be sexually harassed by the CEO has been paid a large amount of money for their silence, to prevent these stories from reaching to the investigators.
The former Chief Operating Officer is popular for her booming career in Cedar Realty. From becoming the Chief Operating Officer in 2014, she has been in a couple of tough positions like being the Director of Leasing and the Vice President for Leasing in the year 2003 up to 2004. Based on the allegations she has made about pay disparity, she is only receiving a small bonus incentive and a lower salary as Chief Operating Officer rather than the Chief Financial Officer and she expressed how unfair that is on her part knowing she should have the bigger pay. The said company Cedar Realty has turned its back on the charges and emphasized that they are not guilty on the allegations made by Nancy.
